2. Fiber blend: understand what 55/45 cotton-polyester means for your inks

If you print with plastisol ink on darker polyester-blend colors, be aware of dye migration, where the garment dye can bleed into the ink and tint it. The fix is simple: use a low-bleed ink or a blocker base, and always run a test print on the exact color you plan to use before you commit to a full run.
3. Construction: check the details that survive production
Bulk orders go through a lot of handling: pressing, curing, folding, shipping and repeated washing by your customer. Look for construction that can take it:
- Double-layer hood for structure, so it sits well instead of collapsing.
- Double-needle cover stitching on seams and hems for durability.
- Flat drawcord that lies clean on the chest and doesn't interfere with a front print or embroidery.
